Overview:

The Spartan Foundation for Education is excited to announce a creative contest inviting ELANCO student designers, artists, and enthusiasts to contribute their talent in designing a new logo and crafting a compelling tagline for our organization. This contest aims to capture the essence of our commitment to education, empowerment, and resilience, symbolizing the Spartan spirit that defines our foundation.
 

Submission Guidelines:

1. Logo Design:

   • Create a unique and visually appealing logo that represents the values of the Spartan Foundation for Education.

   • Incorporate elements that convey our mission statement. "Spartan Foundation for Education seeks to enhance the educational opportunities of our students, inside and outside the classroom, by funding innovative programs and experiences."

   • The logo should be versatile, easily recognizable, and scalable for various applications.

   • Please incorporate some of the following style guide colors when designing your logo. 
      

2. Tagline:

   • Craft a tagline that succinctly captures the mission and spirit of the Spartan Foundation for Education's mission statement. (see above)

   • The tagline should be inspiring, memorable, and align with the foundation's goals.

   • Keep it concise, using no more than a few words or a short phrase.
      

Eligibility:

• The contest is open to any current ELANCO students.
   

Submission Deadline:

• All entries must be submitted by 5/1/2024
   

Prizes:​

 

• Grand Prize: One individual can be awarded $500 if both logo and tagline is chosen 

• Logo Design - $250 if logo only is chosen.

• Tagline - $250 if tagline only is chosen

   

  • Featured placement of the winning logo and tagline on the Spartan Foundation for Education website and promotional materials
     

How to Submit:

• Send your logo and tagline entries to [insert bitly/tinyurl link here].

• Include your full name, contact information, and a brief description of your design concept along with your design logo. 
   

Judging Criteria:

• Creativity and Originality

• Alignment with the Spartan Foundation for Education's mission

• Aesthetic Appeal

• Adherence to Submission Guidelines
   

Winner Announcement:

• The winners will be announced on by the end of the academic year on the Spartan Foundation for Education website and social media channels.
   

Note: By participating in this contest, you agree to grant the Spartan Foundation for Education the rights to use and reproduce the submitted logo and tagline for promotional purposes.
