Currently, Cathy works in Ellucian’s training department as a principal instructional designer. Ellucian, headquartered in Reston, VA, provides higher education technology solutions and services to 2,500 institutions and 18 million students in 50 countries around the globe. Designing and developing training experiences for a global audience for 20+ years, Cathy is passionate about preparing others to live, engage and thrive in a world community.

 

Cathy is a graduate of Garden Spot High School and has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She lives near Churchtown with her husband and son. Cathy enjoys reading, travelling, and the theater and is honored to be a part of the Spartan Foundation.
