Melinda Ashcroft | CNH Industrial
James J. Costello | President, Superior Walls of America, Ltd Jim is the President of Superior Walls of America, Ltd., New Holland, PA; an international developer and licensor of precast concrete manufacturing and construction technology, and has been with the firm for more than 14 years; previously serving as vice president of technical operations. In his second term on the Spartan Foundation Board of Directors, he served as president of the Foundation from November 2011 to November 2013. His professional affiliations include active memberships in the National Association of Homebuilders, the National Precast Concrete Association and the International Code Council. He served on the ELANCO School Board from 1993 to 2005, including 6 years as president, and presently serves on the ELANCO Library Board of Trustees. He is also an involved member, board member, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of New Holland. Jim is a USAF veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree from the SUNY Institute of Technology, Utica, NY. He enjoys the great outdoors, particularly golf and skiing.
Jamie Davis | Head of Human Resources, Hartford Funds Jamie Davis is head of human resources (HR) for Hartford Funds. In this role, Jamie and her team help the business attract, retain, and develop talent, while also supporting business leaders and employees as they build out the firm’s culture and execute on Hartford Funds’ strategy. Jamie joined the company in September 2000 as a sales coordinator covering annuities and mutual funds. In early 2001, she moved into a training role. She held a number of roles on the training team including head of training from 2004-2006. From 2006-2011, Jamie was an HR generalist supporting businesses and functions within The Hartford’s Wealth Management organization. Jamie graduated from Arcadia University with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in business. She has earned a number of designations, including Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). Jamie currently resides in East Earl, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Jaret, and their four children: Samantha, Maxwell, MJ, and Noah. Jamie enjoys the outdoors with her family, including hiking, playing sports, and cooking over a campfire.
Chris Epler | Teacher, Garden Spot High School Chris has been a secondary social studies teacher at ELANCO since 2005. For ten years he taught eighth grade American History and most recently teaches high school World History and Advanced Placement World History. Chris realizes the importance of preparing our students for the realities of being global citizens and enjoys fostering a sense of global connectedness for them. At Elanco Chris has coached track and field and cross country, advised student council, and has been a middle school and high school team facilitator. Chris is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in History and History of Art & Architecture, and a master’s degree in Instruction and Learning in Secondary Social Studies Education. Chris and his wife Katie are proud parents of their daughter Aurelia. He enjoys learning, cooking, travelling, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Robert M. Hollister | Superintendent of Schools, ELANCO School District Dr. Hollister is the Superintendent of Schools for the Eastern Lancaster County School District. Born in Lancaster County, he “returned home” in 2005 to serve as Assistant Superintendent and three years later was appointed Superintendent.  Prior teaching and administrative experiences occurred in Berks, Bucks, and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania. Serving recently as the President of the Pennsylvania Council for International Education and currently a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators Board of Governors,  Dr. Hollister understands the urgency for students to be “global-ready” and has that as a core principle when shaping policy and programs for students in the district. Bob earned his master’s degree from Villanova University and his Doctorate in 2003 from Lehigh University. He is the proud husband to his wife Jennifer and father of their two young daughters Carolyn and Beatrice.
Lucinda Hottenstein | Service Delivery Manager, Hartford Funds Lucinda is a Service Delivery Manager in Operations with Hartford Funds. In this role, Lucinda is instrumental in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives, supporting the team in delivering exceptional service and support to meet and exceed the needs of our clients. Lucinda has been with the company for over 18 years, starting as a sales coordinator covering annuities and mutual funds and has held various roles within the organization, including living and working oversees in Tokyo, Japan and Frankfurt, Germany. Lucinda earned a BA in Economics and an Asian Studies Certification with a concentration in Japanese from the University of Pittsburgh.  As a college student, Lucinda also was part of the Semester at Sea, a multi-country study abroad program on a ship that emphasizes global comparative study. She holds a number of financial services licenses and is a Six Sigma green belt certificate holder.  Lucinda currently resides in Lancaster with her fiancé and is still an avid traveler.

Joshua Martin | Director of Human Resources, Terre Hill Concrete Products Joshua Martin is the Director of Human Resources for Terre Hill Concrete Products (THCP) – a leading manufacturer of precast box culverts, span bridges, and innovative stormwater management solutions for the mid-Atlantic region.  Headquartered in Terre Hill, Pennsylvania, THCP employs a diverse staff of approximately 200 people at its facilities located within Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.  As the Director of Human Resources, Josh oversees all aspects of personnel management throughout the company. Josh also serves as the Artistic Director for Garden Spot Performing Arts, the long-standing theatre program of Garden Spot High School.  In this role, Josh trains and directs students on the stage, and also manages many behind-the-scenes facets of the program’s annual productions.  He is also an avid singer and enjoys cooking for friends and family. Josh is a 2004 graduate of The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.  He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and served as the Assistant to the Dean of Students.  A life-long resident of the ELANCO School District, Josh graduated from Garden Spot High School in 2000, where he was active in the Arts and served as president of his class.  Josh is proud to call this community his home, and he is honored to support the students of our school district through this Foundation.
Paige Opdyke | Teacher, Blue Ball Elementary School Paige is a fifth grade teacher at Blue Ball Elementary School.  She graduated from Penn State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.  Paige is currently working on her master’s degree in Middle Level Instruction from Edinboro University.  She recognizes the importance of preparing students to be global citizens and is excited to be a member of the Spartan Foundation. When she is not teaching, Paige enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, shopping, and vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey.
Keith D. Ramsey | PRSBA, Chief of Finance and Operations, ELANCO School District Keith is the Chief of Finance and Operations for the Eastern Lancaster County School District.  Prior to coming to the District in July of 2001, he served as the Business Manager for the Middletown Area School District and an auditor for the Department of the Auditor General, Bureau of School Audit division. His professional affiliations include the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials and the Association of School Business Officials International.  Keith serves on the Board for the Lancaster County Tax Collection Bureau and actively participates on many committees for his local Business Official Chapter. Keith earned a BS in Account­ing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1990. He and his wife Deb have been married for over 20 years and are proud parents of four daughters: Emily, Sophia, Olivia, and Ella.
John Styer | Partner, SL Technology LLC John is a partner in New Holland based SL Technology- A consulting company providing technology solutions to schools and businesses in central PA. He previously worked for Eastern Lancaster County School District and was responsible for supporting audio/visual and communications equipment throughout the district as well as for implementing new technologies. He received his CTS (certified technology specialist) certification from InfoComm International, the audio/visual industry’s professional association. John is a graduate of Garden Spot High School and has a BS in Communications from Millersville University.  When not at work he enjoys volunteering in his hometown of Terre Hill, skiing, and traveling with his wife, Stephanie.
David Whitaker | Pioneer HI-Bred Dave is a Corn Research Scientist at Pioneer Hi-Bred’s research farm on New Holland Road. He has developed disease resistant corn varieties grown around the world including the leading corn hybrid in China. Dave’s work has taken him to Mexico, China, Japan and Spain/Italy, and will add India and Thailand this fall. Dave received an M.S. in Plant Breeding from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Ag Science from the University of Illinois. He and his wife Sharon have lived in Lancaster county since 1989.
Dennis Wilson | Director, Product Stewardship & Sustainability, Saint-Gobain Corporation- North America Dennis’s current responsibilities as part of the Saint-Gobain North American Corporate EHS Delegation staff include management of the product stewardship, sustainability, auditing, and training programs to all Saint-Gobain businesses in North America as well as business specific EHS management for the Siding Products and Pipe and Foundations Groups. Prior to joining SGC, Dennis had 12 years of leadership experience in various operations, quality, and EHS organizations as part of the pharmaceutical, biotech, paper and plastics industries. Dennis earned a BS in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a MS in Environmental Protection and Safety Management from Saint Joseph’s University and an MBA from LaSalle University. Dennis is currently enrolled in the Sustainable Engineering Program at Villanova University and is also a certified safety professional (CSP).
